IKT
IKT generiert mindestens 5% des europäischen BIP und ist damit zu einer wichtigen Branche für den europäischen Markt geworden. KMU sind in diesem Sektor sehr stark vertreten, mit einer relativ einheitlichen europaweiten Verteilung. Obgleich es zwischen den einzelnen Ländern Unterschiede bezüglich der Definition von IKT gibt, zählt diese Branche groben Schätzungen zufolge europaweit mindestens 750.000 KMU. Neben der Mitwirkung an KMU-bezogenen Technischen Ausschüssen ist NORMAPME auch im IKT-Lenkungsausschuss der Europäischen Kommission und im Standardisierungsrat für Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien von ETSI aktiv.
